We, at CalendaLaw hope that during these unprecedented times of uncertainty due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, all of our valued clients, longtime fellow colleagues and friends are safe and healthy.  CalendaLaw intends to continue serving our clients with the same trusted satisfaction, efficiency and timeliness as we have in the past.

CalendaLaw maintains its operations with modifications as outlined by the CDC and state regulations to ensure the health and safety of everyone.  To guarantee everyone’s safety during these challenging times, we have put in place explicit procedures in line with state mandates:

  1. Only individuals who are signing for the transaction will be allowed to attend the closing.  We realize that it takes an entire team of realtors, loan officers and other individuals to get to the closing table; however we are doing this for everyone’s health benefit.  Both loan officers and realtors are encouraged to be available to you via phone and/or email.

  2. Purchase transactions are being conducted at various sites as agreed upon; again only signees are allowed to be in attendance.

  3. All the attorneys at CalendaLaw wear protective gear (i.e. gloves and masks) and maintain social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet.

  4. Borrowers may bring their own pens in blue ink if not; we have sanitized pens for clients’ use and safekeeping.

  5. CalendaLaw is currently conducting virtual closings in RI, NH and MA where allowed by state law.

  6. CalendaLaw is regularly monitoring state mandates and CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 outbreak and its implications; and will continue to adjust our procedures accordingly.  As new information relating to the mortgage industry is made available, we are adapting to this “new normal”.

  7. Rest assured we are prepared for a busy spring purchase market and increased refinance transactions. If you have further questions or concerns regarding CalendaLaw’s procedures concerning COVID-19; please feel free to contact either Kristie Gatherum at 781-273-3332 or Dan Calenda at 401-265-3185.
